Local band competes for spot on Warped Tour

1 Echo 1, a local group, formed in 2010. It features Dave Bray (formerly of Soveren) Eric Alsvan, Shawn Wirick and Chris Vastardis. The group’s first gig was in late 2010 at the Chameleon Club. They had a CD release party for their first full-length album Jan. 28 and they opened for former Red Lion rock group Halestorm at Millenium Music Conference.
The group entered Ernie Ball’s Van’s Warped Tour Battle of the Bands and are competing for a spot at the Columbia, Md. Vans Warped Tour date. People can vote for bands online. The top 100 vote getting bands for each venue will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals. Four bands will be chosen to perform for each Warped Tour date. Check out 1 Echo 1’s page.
